I have been working with technology start-ups for over 10 years and have been lucky to cross paths with some great people in the process.
My experience started in 2000, when I joined a very early stage startup called Espotting in London, UK as the head of engineering (read: the first person that had a clue about technology). My job was to build the first version of the product, while assembling the technology team required to support the business going forward. At that time AKA the dot-com bust we went through some great and some tough times, but by 2004 Espotting was one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, employing around 280 people across 9 countries, at which point the company was acquired by a US based NASDAQ listed company called Findwhat, to form, what was later known as MIVA.
I am currently involved with a number of companies.
Domavin.ru is a real estate search engine based in Russia.
Avans.bg is a online short term loans company based in Bulgaria.
Mykitchen.bg is a food delivery company based in Bulgaria
I have previously co-founded retaggr.com and before that zoomf.com (acquired by The Trinity Mirror).
